Sonhos got started in 2003. Their music can be described as a journey through different genres that ignores musical borders and relies on the fusion of different style styles. Their repertoire ranges from own creations to versions of compositions of other authors. In all cases each band member’s own style plays a distinctive role. Sonhos’ band members come from all over Spain and each has received the influence of different genres. These different backgrounds produce a unique style that allows the band to move along diverse musical ridges.
At the end of 2009, Sonhos released its first album “Sonhos”, recorded at the Grabando.eu Studios in Salamanca. The album contains three pieces by Bruno Martino, Meredith Wilson and Peninha, six own compositions, plus an additional theme. The album touches different musical styles from fado to bolero, from bossa nova to jazz, and is made unique by the variety of languages used in the lyrics: Galician, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian.
